HED HED Ardennes Plus SL Disc Wheelset

Disc brakes are all the rage these days, and for good reason. They offer great braking in all weather, especially mud-laden cyclocross, dusty gravel races, and cold winter training rides. What do disc brake bikes deserve more than anything? A great set of wheels.

Ardennes Disc Brake wheels can be had in several variations. The SL is our lightest, fastest, and fanciest version, with Hed Lite bladed spokes and our new 545 J-bend hub. The LT keeps all of the same specs, but substitutes in the slightly heavier standard Hed bladed spoke. The GP offers incredible performance at a great price point, featuring round spokes and a reliable 4-pawl hub.

All clincher Ardennes Plus Disc Brake wheels use the same 25mm wide, tubeless-compatible rim, to bring the most out of your tires. The SL and LT are also available in a 23mm-wide tubular version, for the ‘cross-racing fanatics out there.

All Ardennes Plus Disc Brake wheels accommodate every modern axle standard: Quick Release, 15mm front thru axle, 12mm front thru axle, and 142x12mm rear thru axle. For SL and LT wheels, please specify which axle you need at the time of order. GP wheels come stock with 12mm and 15mm front thru axle end caps, and rear 142x12mm axle; QR kit sold separately.

Disc Brake compatibility = Shimano Centerlock (6-bolt rotors require an adapter).
