Bobbers Cross
"the best little cross race in Johnson County"
Hosted annually since 2010 by Geoff's Bike & Ski, Bobbers Cross is a fun grassroots day-of cyclocross race at Scales Pointe Campgroud/Bobbers Bar and Grille in North Liberty Iowa. All proceeds from the event go directly into supporting the Iowa City Nordic Club and increasing the availability and accessibility of cross country skiing in the county.
Fun for the Whole Family
The venue and atmosphere are really what set Bobbers Cross apart from every other cyclocross race. Run throughout Scales Pointe Campground and passing directly through the Bobbers Bar and Grille Beer Garden this is a race unlike any you have previously attended. Racing happens regardless of rain or shine, and boy have there been some muddy events over the years. Great opportunities for spectating and heckling abound and the Kids Race and Dry Land Ski Race are all not to be missed!
