Iowa State Road Race Championships – West Branch, IA – Aug. 7
Coming up this Saturday, during Hoover Days in West Branch, IA the Iowa City Cycling Club is presenting the 2010 Iowa State Road Race Championships. Events begin at 10am, with registration on site opening at 8:30am.

JCTF Disco Party – Roadies in North Liberty – Aug. 7
The Johnson County Trails Foundation is having a fundraiser at Roadies in North Liberty, IA. Party begins at 7pm August 7th, and will be a great way to wind down from a fun day of racing at the IA State Road Race.
Monica’s Time Trial Series #5 – Aug. 10
The fifth and last of Monica’s Time Trial Series is August 10th, at 6:30pm just South of Lone Tree, IA. Registration is held just up the road in Dougherty Park in Lone Tree. At just $10 for licensed riders, and $20 for unlicensed riders, this is a great way to give racing a shot in a friendly, low-pressure environment!
Iowa State Time Trial Championships – Aug. 15
On August 15th, 2010 the Iowa City Cycling Club will host this years Iowa State Time Trial Championships near Nichols, IA.
The course is a flat out and back, distance either 20k or 40k based on USAC racing category.
Registration will open at 7:00am and close at 8:00am. Riders will go off in order of registration, with the 20k categories starting first. Park in the DOT parking lot located just south of Nichols on Hwy 70.

Chamois Time #4 – Aug. 18
This time the ladies of the Iowa City Cycling Club are presenting the 4th race in their Chamois Time Race Series. Race #4 will be a mountain bike time trial at Sugar Bottom mountain bike trails.
Courage Ride – Aug. 28
The Courage Ride is an annual bike-ride through the beautiful countryside of Eastern Iowa. The Courage Ride is dedicated to improving the lives of people living wtih cancer by raising money to fund research into sarcoma and other cancers at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Sugar Bottom Scramble – Aug. 29
Once again, ICORR is putting on the Sugar Bottom Scramble mountain bike race. This event is always a great time, and has racing categories for everyone from beginners to advanced, so come on out for a great day of racing!
